The National Sun Yat-sen University College of Arts will display the work and results of their execution and cultivation of higher education at Pier2 Art Center in the C8-8 exhibition area amongst the Dayi warehouses beginning November 10th, 2020 for a week.
The exhibition has been divided into four sections, in "The Beauty and Sorrow of Kaohsiung", we present a story strung together through different pieces that will lead you magically through the "Present/Absent Old Zouying" and accompany you each corner of the city "Dark Sounds and Shadows" invites you to experience reproduced memories of times before recreated by putting broken parts together in "Memories and Bodies". The exhibition summons images of the city concern the elderly who have been left behind, areas that were glorious but have fallen, and those who live in marginal areas unexposed to the light of the city. We will carefully weave this "Coastal Scenery", which is unique to the seaport city of Kaohsiung, with all kinds of tiny occurrences, unnoticed narratives, and forgotten stories.
